To facilitate outdoor operations such as dining and retail, businesses in the downtown area may request temporary sidewalk, parking, and street encroachments while the COVID-19 County Health Order restrictions are in place.

An Encroachment Permit is issued by the City and obtained by the person, firm, or organization that proposes to do work or encroach upon a public right-of-way of water course.

A Grading Permit will be required for all new pools, demolition of existing pool, stockpiling material, and earth removing projects.
A Sewer Connection Permit must be issued by the Community Development Department for all sewer connections into the City of Concord Sanitary Sewer System.
