Arap Bethke, actor and director best known for La Piloto (2017), Club de Cuervos (2015) and Instructions Not Included (2013) joins California’s Secretary of the Business, Consumer Services and Housing Agency Lourdes Castro Ramírez for an encouraging discussion covering resources and guidance for persons concerned about making monthly rent or mortgage payments on time. Ramirez encourages persons experiencing hardship, to be proactive about explaining their financial situation to their landlord, mortgage company, or financial institution.

Governor Newsom ordered evictions halted through July 28, 2020. If your landlord is attempting to evict you for not paying rent and you took all of the above steps, contact a local legal aid provider and learn about your protections.
