Pasta classes offered for busy adults
Concord Community and Recreation Services will offer Elizabeth Seaholm's popular "Italian Homemade Pasta" classes this spring. On Tuesday, May 25 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Centre Concord, 5298 Clayton Road, participants will learn to make gnocchi from scratch and on June 1, will learn to make basic pasta from scratch.
Participants in these two-hour classes will learn to make homemade pasta from a few basic ingredients using a few simple techniques. The instructor demonstrates the old world technique with personal attention given to each student.
The classes are designed for the beginner and the emphasis is on fun, family and cooking. The class will finish with a light meal and students will bring home their ready-to-cook pasta. Participants must bring their own rolling pin to the class.
