Free gas card for Camp Concord families
Camp Concord, the City’s 29-acre camp located at South Lake Tahoe, is offering a $100 gas card to families who book a stay for a minimum of two nights, Sunday through Thursday.
“Camp Concord is the most affordable family vacation at Lake Tahoe - and we’ll help you get there,” says Senior Program Manager Steve Voorhies. “Just mention ‘gas card’ when making your Family Camp reservation to take advantage of this special offer. The gas card will be provided to you upon check-in at Camp Concord.”
The Family Camp program includes rustic accommodations in private cabins, delicious meals and wide variety of activities. Camp runs from June 21 to July 30 and again from August 14 to 21. Families have the flexibility to stay as many nights as they wish with a fee charged per person per night. Many Camp Concord activities take advantage of the incredible natural surroundings available at Lake Tahoe. Favorites include Brunch on the Beach, biking the paved South Shore trail, canoeing on Fallen Leaf Lake and hiking for every level from beginner to advanced. Traditional camp activities like arts & crafts, archery, and campfires complete with S’mores round out the program.
Family Camp cabin availability may be limited and interested families are encouraged to book their vacation soon for the most flexibility. Offer details are available on line at www.campconcord.org or through the registration office at (925) 671-3404, open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
