Concord is a great city in which to live, work, recreate, and raise a family. Located in central Contra Costa County with easy access off major highways (680 & 4) and BART, Concord offers a friendly, affordable community rich in tradition and natural assets. We feature a capable workforce, magnificent parks and recreational space, award-winning schools, spirited civic and cultural organizations, a vibrant faith community, and citizens who are committed to making Concord a very special community.
The mission of our city government is to be more "user-friendly" by extending itself to new and established merchants, local industry, residents and visitors. To this end I say, come explore our friendly city and experience the pleasures and opportunities that abound.
