Concord seeks representative on county Aviation Advisory Committee
The City of Concord is recruiting for candidates to fill an opening as Concord's representative on the Contra Costa County Aviation Advisory Committee. The CCC Aviation Advisory Committee is comprised of 12 members appointed by the Board of Supervisors; all members must be county residents. One member represents the City of Concord.
The CCC Aviation Advisory Committee provides advice and recommendations to the Board of Supervisors on aviation issues as they relate to the airports in Contra Costa County. The committee meets on the third Tuesday of each month at noon at the Buchanan Field Airport.
Applications may be requested by calling (925) 671-3495. Applications are also available on the City's website at www.cityofconcord.org/citygov/bc/b-c.htm. The deadline for receipt of applications is 5 p.m., Friday, January 8, 2010.
