Class takes moms and tots out and about
Concord Community and Recreation Services will offer Sarah Becker and Brenna Shafizadeh's popular "Toddling Around Concord" classes on Tuesday mornings beginning Feb. 2, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., running through March 2.
The class is designed for moms with children five and under. Additional siblings of any age are welcome. Participants will receive a copy of Toddling Around Mount Diablo, a community guidebook for families living in Concord, Walnut Creek, Clayton, Pleasant Hill and Martinez. The book covers local parks, easy outings and day trips, annual events, community resources, and entertaining things to do at home with the kids. Using the book as a guide, participants will go on fun and easy outings each week, and enjoy getting out and about with their children.
