Online Driver's Ed offered for teens 15 and up
Concord Community and Recreation Services are offering a high caliber, Online Driver's Ed course to residents at a discounted rate. This is a DMV-approved, Online Driver's Ed class that includes animations, videos (including the most recent version of 'Red Asphalt'), and many sample test questions.
Participants will complete this class at home, at their own pace. Participants will learn about the responsibility of having a driver's license, rules of the road, pedestrian and bicycle safety, accident-avoidance techniques, drugs and alcohol, and much more.
The class is a state requirement for teens (between ages 15 - 17 1/2) to receive their permit and driver's license. In California, teens may receive a learner's permit at 15 1/2 and a driver's license at 16 years old.
For more information or to register for the class, call Concord Community and Recreation Services at (925) 671-3404 or online at www.concordreg.org
