Applicants sought for city rep on Mosquito and Vector Control Board
The Concord City Council has announced the opening of a recruitment for applicants interested in serving as the City's representative on the county Mosquito and Vector Control District's Board of Trustees. The deadline for receipt of applications is Friday, Nov. 16 at 5 p.m.
Applicants must be Contra Costa County taxpayers and at least 18 years of age with an interest in public health, public policy, wetlands, farming, community education, and/or land development. The Board of Trustees meets at 7 p.m. the second Monday of every other month at the district's administrative offices, 155 Mason Circle in Concord.
