Last chance to register for mixed doubles pickleball league

Last call. Team registrations for the Concord Mixed Doubles Pickleball League at Willow Pass Park are due by 4 p.m. on Monday, May 8. Adults looking for exercise in a fun environment should consider signing up.

Registration packets are available for the six-week league games and one-week league playoff season. The summer season starts May 16 and runs through June 27. Visit for a registration packet and information. Interested individuals may also learn more about pickleball and register at the Willow Pass Community Center located at 2748 E. Olivera Road, Concord, Monday – Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the United States. A court game that combines elements of badminton, tennis and ping-pong, this low impact game is great for people of all ages. The City of Concord recently renovated four tennis courts at Willow Pass Park into 14 dedicated pickleball courts.
