Friends of Camp Concord

About the FOCC

Work WeekendsThe Friends of Camp Concord (FOCC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Camp Concord through sponsoring camperships for underprivileged children and families, to promote greater awareness and use of Camp Concord, to establish and carry out projects for better camp facilities. By becoming a part of this effective organization, members have the opportunity to participate in social events, golf tournament fundraising, work weekends at camp, and of course, priority registration for Family Camp. Since 1997, Friends of Camp Concord has raised over $600,000 towards these goals.

Golf Tournament

Playing golfHosted by ABC Channel 7 News' Dan Ashley, The Friends of Camp Concord Golf Tournament is the backbone of our fundraising efforts. This all day event showboats some great golfing, excellent prizes, fun auctions, and an experience you'll want to return to year after year. Proceeds are used to send hundreds of underprivileged children to Lake Tahoe to enjoy the camaraderie, fun, and natural beauty that only a camp experience offers. The goal is to send any child in Contra Costa County who dreams of going to camp, no matter what their financial situation, to Camp Concord.

Sponsorship Opportunities

In order to successfully raise money for the Kids For Camp Scholarship Fund, we are relying heavily on tournament sponsors.
