History of Camp Concord
It took at least 40 civic groups, private businesses, schools and individuals to establish our Camp.
Camp Concord is nestled high in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, between the majestic shores of Lake Tahoe and the calming beauty of Fallen Leaf Lake. Campers enjoy archery, rafting, swimming, canoeing, horseback riding, campfires, arts and crafts, and more. These activities are available through:
- Family Camp offers parents a chance to get away with their children to a private cabin for as many days as they would like. Family members can choose to participate in planned camp activities or strike out on their own.
- Private Group Rentals from May through October, exclusive of the summer season
Camp Concord is dedicated to the philosophy that its buildings, programs and participants will be compatible with the surrounding environment. Camp will ensure that all elements of Camp Concord remain in harmony with the environment by maintaining a minimal impact and working toward a waste free environment.
