10:00 am - 12 noon & 1 pm - 3 pm
Our preschool program is a positive first school experience for the young child. We offer programs for two, three and four year olds. Throughout these early years the children will:
- Gain confidence and self-esteem
- Develop listening skills
- Take turns and follow directions
- Develop social skills
- Learn academics through play
- All class curiculum includes: Indoor & Outdoor Play, Circle time, Arts & Crafts, Snack Time
By the time they graduate, they will be ready for Kindergarten and be well on their way - with many fond memories of preschool.

Preschool Requirements
- 2 year olds must be 2 by September 1
- 3 year olds must be 3 by December 1
- 4 year olds must be 4 by December 1
- 3 and 4 year olds must be potty trained.

Nonrefundable First Month's Tuition and $35 Processing Fee
- Processing Fee: $35
- Monthly Tuition Fee for School Year 2011-2012 (Annual Fee broken down into 9 month tuition payments)
- 2-day classes $119/month Concord residents $124/month nonresidents
- 3-day classes $179/month Concord residents $184/month nonresidents
- Parents are asked to provide snack for the whole class once a month
Preschool Instructor Biographies

Gina Murdock
Gina has been a teacher for over 18 years. She offers a structured
program that prepares your child for Kindergarten. They work on
fine motor skills through writing activities and other hands on
projects. Her broad curriculum covers the alphabet, numbers, music,
science, cooking, drama and more.
Beth Severa
Beth has been teaching for over 15 years. Her philosophy is for each child to have an opportunity to explore, learn and play in a safe environment. Beth brings to this class a positive experience for your child with an emphasis on sharing, socializing and developing confidence away from home. 3's class will be exposed to colors, numbers, and other pre-academic activities. Potty training is also encouraged.
Kimlien Pruner
Kim Lien Pruner has been with the City of Concord for 2 years. She has worked with preschoolers for over 10 years, including owning her own daycare. Curriculum will cover social skills, problem solving, letters,numbers, colors, shapes, music, and exploring their creativity through play. Ms. Kimlien loves to see the progress of children as they develop into amazing students. This class will prepare them for the next stage of learning.
Melissa Gardner
Melissa has been working with the 4 yr. olds for 11 yrs. (This is her first year teaching her own class) During the year they will be learning their Colors, Shapes, Numbers, Letters, and motor skills getting them ready for kindergarten.
Sean (Michelle) Berry
Sean has been teaching preschool for over 20 years in Concord. In her classroom children are encouraged to learn through exploration. Children participate in hands on activities that will enhance and develop their natural love of learning. Curriculum will cover social skills, problem solving, early literacy, numbers, color, shapes, cooking, and music & movement.
Sonja Stanley
Mrs. Sonja has been teaching at Center Concord for over 12 years. She loves working with the 4 year olds, watching them learn and grow into children ready to walk into kindergarten. Sonja works with each child developing skills in learning and writing letters and numbers, motor skills, science, and social skills.
