Skyhawks provides safe, positive athletic programs that emphasize critical lessons in sports and life, such as sportsmanship, teamwork, winning and losing. Skyhawks continues to build on its foundation of providing healthy and active lifestyle choices while helping develop and build the skills and confidence of young athletes. Skyhawks' purpose is to teach children and young adults life lessons through athletics. Half-day and full-day sport specific camps for kids ages 6-14. The popular half-day "Mini-Hawk" program for ages 4-6 will let your young child sample a variety of sports without the pressure to choose one over the other.
Skateboard Camp
This summer treat your child to the summer camp experience they've been wanting. Skateboard Camp provides a great way to learn and improve your child's skateboarding skills. Participants will learn skateboard safety, how to take care of their skateboard and skateboard essentials. Tricks will be taught according to an individual's skill level and ability. This camp for 7-13 year olds is held at the Concord Skate Park, and run by Metro Boardshop staff. There is also a Skateboard and Swim combo that brings the campers to Concord Community Pool for the afternoon in the water. Kidz Love Soccer
Kids love soccer because it is so much fun! This year-round program of soccer instruction will introduce your child to the basic skills of the world's most popular sport in this noncompetitive program where the score is always "fun to fun". Young soccer enthusiasts will be developed through fun and age appropriate games. The experienced coaching staff is sure to make every player a winner. Tots as young as 3 ½ will enjoy running and kicking the ball, just like the big kids! Older players, up to age 12 will perfect their skills and learn about teamwork through small sided matches. Tennis Camp
Become a total player by learning proper grips, footwork, strokes, volleys, and serves.
Skyhawk Sports tennis breaks down the fundamental skills of tennis through easily understood and applicable games and exercises that increase the athlete's abilities. Each athlete will learn proper grips, footwork, strokes, volleys, and serves to help develop the total player. A series of drills and exercises designed to teach skill in a fun and dynamic way will boost every participant's techniques and talent. While developing a love for the game, athletes will learn the rules and etiquette that help make tennis a lifelong game.

Baseball Camp
Payless Batting Cages ( formerly Grand Slam ) has been operating at Willow Pass Park since 1984. We use only the safest state-of-the-art ATEC training equipment - the same equipment that is used by all 28 major league baseball clubs. An all day summer camp for players age 7-12 covers fielding, throwing, base running, hitting and the use of batting cages. Community Youth Center
The Community Youth Center, funded by the Hofmann Foundation, is a unique athletic training facility for young athletes ages 4-18. The philosophy of the center is that children develop discipline, confidence and self-esteem through participation in sports and academic excellence. Sports activities include rhythmic gymnastics, gymnastics, dance, boxing, wrestling, Tae Kwon Do, judo, cheerleading, and weight training. The center is a state-of-the-art facility located at 2241/2251 Galaxy Court in Concord. Monthly dues of $20 allows participation in a variety of classes and programs.
